Caregiver Support
The Carer Mentor Connection
I was lucky enough to find Victoria Chin’s Carer Mentor site awhile back, and it’s long past time I shared it here.
Even though I am an RN, nothing really prepared me for becoming a dementia caregiver when my husband was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.
Based in the UK, but with universal content on caregiving, Victoria has created a platform with tools and resources for caregivers of all types.
The content is well organized and the community of caregivers that support each other through shared experience and deep empathy is unmatched.
I have particularly loved the monthly Community Network Discussions here, which included separate sessions for spousal caregivers and child-adult caregivers. Even though we share a lot of experiences, there are some complexities that are different. I love that as someone who cared for both my mom and my husband.
I see myself in so many of these stories. Knowing I am not alone in this journey has been such a huge blessing. If you’re a part or full time caregiver for someone you love, check it out!

Many thanks for this Anna, I appreciate your endorsement and support of my work. Thank you!
